The Beaches is a friendly and accommodating bed and breakfast in Scarborough where every visitor is welcome! We do our best to cater for every one of our guests' needs and requirements to ensure everyone has a comfortable and memorable stay.

How many rooms do you have?
The Beaches Bed and Breakfast has five en suite bedrooms, each with their own individual characters. These comprise of three double rooms, One with King Size bed and balcony, and two family rooms one with double and single bed, and one with king size bed and day bed with trundle. How close are you to the beach?
We're just a five-minute walk to Scarborough's North Bay beach, which currently holds a Blue Flag award for its exceptional cleanliness and facilities for visitors. You can also reach the South Bay, with its beach, amusement arcades and fairground rides, in around 15 minutes.
Are you family friendly?
Absolutely! At The Beaches Scarborough we have two family sized bedrooms, one of which can sleep three people, and the other of which can sleep four people and has plenty of room for a travel cot too. There is also space for a travel cot in our double rooms, so smaller visitors are very welcome here.
Do you provide travel cots and high chairs?
We have a travel cot and a high chair available for your use here at The Beaches, but you are more than welcome to bring your own too.
What do you offer for breakfast at The Beaches?
We cook up a hearty Full English Breakfast every morning, using locally sourced ingredients where possible. But don't worry if you have a smaller appetite; just request a smaller portion or help yourself to the great selection of cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit provided to ensure all of our guests are filled up for a day of exploring Scarborough.
Can you accommodate special diets for breakfast?
Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, coeliac, or follow a gluten-free diet, we are happy to accommodate you! Just let us know any special requests when you place your booking at The Beaches.
Do you offer lunch or an evening meal?
Evening meals are available on request, as are lunches. Click Here to view our menu. To this extent we request that food from outside should not be brought into the dining room
You will also find a fantastic choice of restaurants and cafes nearby to suit every appetite. We're also proud to be situated on the same road as North Bay Fisheries, which is currently the #1 rated restaurant in Scarborough on TripAdvisor, so make sure you pay them a visit!
Can I park at The Beaches?
Yes you can, as we benefit from plenty of on-street permit parking in front of the property. When you arrive we'll give you a parking permit to display in your vehicle. This may need to be renewed depending on the length of your stay with us.
Are you dog-friendly?
If you wish to bring your well-behaved, four-legged friend to stay with you, please contact us first and we'll see what we can do.
Is The Beaches accessible for all guests?
We aim to accommodate every type of guest at The Beaches, and we do have one accessible room on our ground floor. Unfortunately our other rooms are only accessible by stairs - if access is a concern for you, please get in touch with us and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Can you accommodate large groups?
Unfortunately, as we are a family orientated guest house, we are unable to accommodate large group bookings.
Can you accommodate single or business travellers?
Yes we can - we have two double rooms suitable for solo travellers or those visiting Scarborough on business. We can also have your breakfast ready for a time that's convenient for you.
What time is guest check-out?
Check-out time is 10.00am.
Can I store my luggage at The Beaches after I have checked out?
Yes, we can store your luggage for you after you have checked out. Just let us know and we'll arrange this for you.
